Single Session Stranded Colorwork ft. Doodle Card Decks with Kaberle
Pacific Knit Co. Doodle Cards Decks and Base Patterns are beginner friendly and a great choice for your stranded colorwork projects! We offer base patterns for socks, scarfs, cowls, and beanies and there are oodles of Doodle Decks to pair with these! We recommend coming in ahead of your workshop anytime Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays so Kaberle can help you pick out your colors, base pattern and deck.
We now book this workshop in single sessions at a time, but we do find that students often benefit from taking two sessions for mastery. In one session, Kaberle will teach you different ways to hold your yarn for stranded colorwork, and help to you get comfortable with the techniques. A second session is helpful for skill review, follow up questions, and finishing the project.
Requirements: Must have a knowledge and know how of Knit, Purl and Slip Stitches
Do the first step of your selected base pattern prior to the workshop. (ex: do the band of the hat and said rows before starting the colorwork portion.)
